Four shirts. Four iconic Melbourne moments. This is the opening chapter of 58g, and the first time the idea leaves the drawing board and becomes something you can wear. 

All four designs come from smuts, a creative collective based in Gotland, Sweden. Each one was researched, refined and built around a single moment, with the same attention on the front and on the back. The front is the mark. The back is the story.

THE MONOLOGUE (feat. Tommy Haas)

2007 quarterfinal. The match flipped twice before Tommy Haas closed it in five, and the opponent that mattered most was the one he couldn't see across the net: himself. His self-talk turned frustration into fuel and became one of the most quoted human moments the sport has produced. 

On the front: Haas' signature shot, a nod to his rise to World No. 2 and to that comeback.

The 2012 final between Djokovic and Nadal ran through the night and into history. People remember it by the clock, not by the points: five hours and 53 minutes of endurance, precision and will.

HEAT

Melbourne in January is a physical and mental test. Dry air, 40-plus degrees, matches that feel heavier with every point. Some players won in it, some didn't survive it.
