Agassi and Sampras could hardly have been more different.

But for 13 years, they kept pushing each other.

Across 34 matches, Grand Slam finals and countless battles, each became part of the other's story. And nowhere did their rivalry feel bigger than in New York. Four US Open meetings. Four Sampras wins. His first Grand Slam against Agassi in 1990. His last against him twelve years later.

Their rivalry even left the court: in 1995, they famously turned a city street into a tennis court for Nike's legendary Guerrilla Tennis commercial.

Years later, Agassi summed up what having Sampras on the other side of the net had meant to him: “I would have won more, but I think I would have been worse.”

And somehow, you get the feeling the same was true the other way around.

For the first time, a 58g release comes in black. With a story so closely connected to the legendary US Open Night Sessions, there really was no other choice.

On the front: A hand-drawn interpretation of the Unisphere at Flushing Meadows, together with the coordinates of the place where so much of their rivalry became tennis history.

On the back: A tennis ball shape made up of dozens of small illustrations. From a distance, one image. Up close, an archive of one of tennis' greatest rivalries.

Including:

• the four US Open meetings, all won by Sampras
• four tiebreaks and zero breaks in 2001
• Sampras' first and final Grand Slam titles
• Agassi's iconic Nike looks
• the legendary Guerrilla Tennis commercial
• scorelines, trophies, rackets and hidden New York references
• and plenty more for tennis nerds to find

The more you know about the rivalry, the more there is to find.
